Poison Ivy and the Bat by kona333 Poison Ivy and the Bat by kona333
My first photo manipulation! Don't let that fool you though, i've been using Photoshop for over 10 years. My Wacom has broken so I can't paint anymore, not that I ever do anyway because I can never finish anything. So it'll all be photo manip from now. And anyway, it's more fun due to being so much quicker. Painting this would have been 50 hours+, instead it takes me 5 hours :)
Perhaps I will repaint it digitally one day anyway. Now I might be able to finish some of my incomplete paintings redone as photo manipulations.

I also wanted to do something more in the background - like a wimpy batman linched on a tree, murdered by Poison Ivy. But decided that'd be too morbid so settled for the simple bat.

STOCK THANKS

Model: By me! It's my much reused model (and girlfriend) Mel.
Here's a very similar original with almost no photo manip [link]

The other treas and bushes: uncredit, can't find where I got them!

I like how you kept lighting pretty consistent - I'd imagine that to be a difficult aspect of manipulation!

Thanks :) Yeah the original background on the model photo was very bright! So I had to keep something that casted a lot of light on that side of her face.
